St. Luke’s combining yard, plant sales
WILTON — St. Luke’s annual yard and plant sales are combining for the group’s biggest sale ever. It will take place, rain or shine, on Saturday, May 31, starting at 9 a.m. in the church parking lot and basement.
Perennials, annuals, herb and vegetable seedlings, along with house plants are all available at reasonable prices. There will be a large selection of household items for the yard sale.

Trap shooting at Wilton Fish & Game
WILTON — The Wilton Fish & Game Association’s trap is operational and there will be shooting Mondays starting around 4:30 p.m.
Eye and ear protection are required and the cost per round of 25 targets is $4.50. Bring your own ammunition.

FARMINGTON — The Central Maine Fire Chiefs June breakfast meeting will be held at 8 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the Homestead Bakery, 186 Broadway. All area fire officers are invited.
Public supper at North Jay Grange
JAY — A public supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the North Jay Grange.
Menu includes baked beans casseroles, salads, coleslaw, meats, rolls, beverages, desserts. Adults, $7; 10 and under, $3.

Public roast pork dinner at Lodge
NEW SHARON — A public roast pork dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Franklin Masonic Lodge of New Sharon.
The meal will be served with potato, coleslaw, vegetables, rolls and homemade pie. Take out available. Adults $8, age 6-12 is $6 and under 6 free. To benefit the Building Fund.
Square, round dance and ice cream
WILTON — On Sunday, June 8, the Friendship Squares will host a square and round dance with an ice cream social from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Cushing School.
The dance will be mainstream/mainstream plus. The caller will be Walt Bull. Carol Arsenault will be the cuer. Admission is $6 per person. All square dancers are welcome.

Literacy Volunteers indoor yard sale
FARMINGTON — Literacy Volunteers will hold their annual fundraiser, a huge, indoor yard sale, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Mt. Blue High School cafeteria, 129 Seamon Road.
This is a family-friendly event. There will be food for sale and 50/50 raffle tickets.
