JAY — Members of the VFW Post 3335 are offering a free dinner on Friday, June 6, to World War II veterans in recognition of the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

Dinners for veterans’ spouses are $5 per person.

The beef tips dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the post hall at the intersection of Jewell Street and Route 133 in Jay.

If a World War II veteran is interested in the meal, they are asked to call 897-2859 or 897-2640 to let VFW members know.
