- Barbara Smith McIntosh of Tetonia, Idaho, a 1959 Bates College graduate, parades with classmates and family members on the college’s Historic Quad during the annual Alumni Parade on Reunion Weekend on Saturday. The class held signs with historical events from the era they graduated from Bates, and their theme reflected Hawaii’s 1959 statehood.This year’s Reunion welcomed more than 1,000 alumni, family members and friends back to campus.
