LIVERMORE — Tim Kachnovich won a contested race Tuesday for a three-year term on the Board of Selectpersons. He received 253 votes to Melissa Gilbert’s 137.
It was the only contested race on the ballot.
Selectperson Peter Castonguay was re-elected to another two-year term on the board with 348 votes.
RSU 73 Director Cindy Young received 361 votes to serve another three-year term.
Town Clerk Renda Guild was re-elected to another two-year term with 374 votes.
Newcomer Amy Byron was elected to a two-year term as treasurer. She was appointed interim treasurer in April after former Treasurer Kurt Schaub left to become town manager of Turner.
