LEEDS — Town meeting voters Saturday approved a spending package of just under $1 million for the coming year, down from $1.1 million in the 2013-2014 budget.
Only 29 voters attended the annual town meeting, which drew 60 or 70 people in recent years, Town Clerk Joyce Pratt said.
On June 6, voters re-elected Selectman Dwight Buckley, who defeated challenger Francis Andre, 136-53. Also elected were Glenn Holt as fire chief and Robert Allen for school board, who were both unopposed.
