HARTFORD — A workshop on “The Aura” with Mary Lou Marion will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at the Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Center, which meets at Hartford Town Hall, 1190 Main St.
Make a day of it and attend the 10:30 a.m. devotional service. A potluck lunch will be served after the service. For more information, call 207-515-1016.
In this workshop, Mary Lou will teach about the aura, explain what the colors are and how they work together and against each other.
She will show everyone how to see auras. Those who want to learn to see the aura can do so with practice.
The aura is the energy field around each person. It is always changing and each color has a meaning. Most people have about six colors around them at all times and other colors come in as their day goes on.
Mary Lou has always seen auras even as a child. She did not know what the colors were around people and no one else seemed to see them. Her mother thought there was something wrong with her eyesight and would take her to the eye doctors who said that she had weak eyes.
In her late forties she was introduced to a Spiritualist Church. She received mediumship training from Mary Lou Baumhauf and Peggy Handy at The Church of Spiritual Life in Massachusetts.
Mary Lou also does auragraphs, which can take 25 minutes or more to create.
Class is one hour to an hour and a half depending on class size. Open donation.
