- Franklin Savings Bank Community Development Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Greater Franklin Development Council to continue its efforts to support local economic development. Since 1998, Greater Franklin Development Corporation has championed existing and new business development in the greater Franklin County area. Franklin Savings Bank Community Development Foundation has contributed more than $1.5 million to local economic development, educational and charitable projects since it was created in 2001. At the donation is Timothy Thompson, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Franklin Savings Bank, and GFDC Executive Director Alison Hagerstrom.
