- Dennis Parlin pulls a large section of a tree that the crew from Johnny Castonguay Logging cleared on the edge of the Androscoggin River on Monday morning in Lewiston. They were working between Sunnyside Park and Riverside Cemetery, clearing trees and brush for the Lewiston Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail that follows the river for 1¼ miles, ending at Tall Pines Drive. The project is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 1.
