- Skelton, Taintor, and Abbott won the Elliot/South Lewiston/New Auburn Little League Championship this past Saturday. The team finished the regular season in second place and and worked it’s way through the playoffs with wins over Dube Gravel and United Ambulance before knocking off No. 1 seed Lisbon Family CU 12-2 in the championship game. Playing for STA were Brendan Bolduc, Trevor Trudell, Jayden Webster, Tyler Freeman, Matthew Gosselin, Andrew Letourneau, Michael Belleau, James Belleau II, Austin Griffey, Ben, St. Laurent, Jacob Smith, and Caden Smith. Coaches were Jamie Belleau, Jeff Gosselin, Randy St. Laurent, and Tim Smith.
