RUMFORD — Selectmen will convene their annual end of the fiscal year meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, in Rumford Falls Auditorium.

They will start off with an executive session for a personnel matter, and then approve the end of the year town warrant to close out the books.

Additional agenda items include:

* Approval of a special town meeting for July 22.

* How notices of special Board of Selectmen meetings are to be given.

* Discussion on Rumford downtown planning and Congress Street sidewalk improvements.

The warrant for the special town meeting includes re-voting the General Assistance budget that was defeated at the June 10 referendum, and two land matters. Residents will be asked whether to accept a Wells Fargo offer to donate a foreclosed property and land at 125 Washington St. and $19,000 to the town, and whether the town should award a quitclaim deed for an unused lot on Maple Street to Mark Davis’ property.
