- Cadance Thomas, 8, of Turner and formerly of Canton, holds her stuffed bunny named Susan, which has a baby bunny atop its back. It won the cutest category at Tuesday’s Stuffed Animal Pet Show at the “Fizz, Boom, Read” program at Ludden Memorial Library in Dixfield. Fifty children brought their favorite stuffed animals and told judges Carlo Puiia, Dixfield town manager; Richard A. Pickett, Dixfield police chief; and Bill DeVries of the Dixfield Economic Development Council, why the critter was important to them. Categories were best in show, second place, cutest, funniest, fluffiest, softest, prettiest, biggest, smallest and scariest.
