Retired science teacher Ted “Bitsy” Ionta of Dixfield blasts flames of burning flour out of a metal canister with two lit candles inside simply by blowing into a tube during his “Mr. I the Science Guy” presentation on Wednesday afternoon for the Fizz, Boom, Read! Summer Reading Program at Rumford Public Library. Sixty children and parents attended the presentation.
