BRUNSWICK — The 12th annual Brunswick Garden Tour from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, will highlight nine gardens that have never been on previous tours. All proceeds will go to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program which serves lunch six days a week at their soup kitchen and provides boxes of food in their food pantry to families in need.
Coordinators Ron Carroll and Priscilla Smith have succeeded once again in finding spectacular gardens with homeowners who are willing to share the results of their hours of work. All of the gardens are within a short drive from downtown, and specific directions are included with the ticket.
Tickets will be sold in advance for $10 at Hannaford, as well as Imperial Hosta, Gulf of Maine Books, and the MCHPP office at 84A Union St. On the day of the tour, tickets may be purchased for $12 at the Gazebo on the Mall, Maine Street.
For more information, call 207-725-6558 or 207-725-2716. Rain date is Sunday, July 20.
