Turkey dinner at Masonic Hall

LISBON — A roast turkey dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, at the Masonic Hall, Oak Street.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under and free for preschoolers.

The meal is hosted by Pioneer Chapter 11.

New pre-K at Hebron Station School

HEBRON — Hebron Station School is seeking applications for 4-year-old children for a pre-K classroom.

Children who will be 4 years old on or before Oct. 15 are eligible to apply. This program is open to Hebron residents and is funded by MSAD 17, so there are no household income restrictions.

The full-day program meets every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to start the school year, then drops to Tuesday and Thursday mid-year. It will follow the district’s school calendar.

Interested parents should call Principal Melanie Ellsworth at 592-4174 for an application packet. Deadline for applications is July 18. If more than 13 children apply, there will be a lottery to determine who will be enrolled.

Yoga workshops at CMMC

LEWISTON — Certified yoga instructor Marcy Covey will lead two 90-minute yoga workshops in July at Central Maine Medical Center.

The programs will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on July 14 and 28 in the CMMC Health and Fitness Center, located on the lower level of the 12 High Street medical office building.

There will be a small fee for participation.

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church, at 439Park St., will again sponsor its summer Vacation Bible School from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. July 21-25.

This year’s theme is “Workshop of Wonders – Imagine and Build with God.” The program is for children age 5 through the completion of fourth grade.

This adventure includes music, interactive Bible fun, super science, cool crafts, mission work, snacks and games. It is open to everyone.

AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church will sponsor a Summer Service Squad is for kids 12-16 years old. It is open to everyone, so bring a friend.

They will meet from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. July 21-25.

Each morning participants will meet at the church at 8:30 and from there go out into the community to do volunteer service work at various locations.
