LEWISTON — For the second year in a row, thousands of people throughout Maine have voted The Public Theatre in Lewiston as the “Best Theatre in Maine” in the Down East Magazine readers’ poll.
Celebrating its 24th season, The Public Theatre is a professional Equity theatre dedicated to producing Broadway-quality theatre at an affordable price. Featuring a top ticket price of $20 and a youth ticket price of $5 for anyone 18 and younger, The Public Theatre produces the most recent and exciting plays from Broadway and Off-Broadway featuring the finest professional actors from New York to Los Angeles from October through May.
