WELCOME Moxie enthusiast!

On behalf of the Lisbon Town Council, we are delighted to welcome you to the 32nd annual Moxie Festival to celebrate with us “all things Moxie.” We hope you and your family have a wonderful experience at this year’s event.

The festival committee has worked hard all year to bring you this festival. People visit from all over the country to witness where “Moxie” is celebrated during the three-day annual event. This is an opportunity for those to reunite with fellow classmates, friends and family members who they don’t get to see but once a year as well as a chance to drink the beverage they so enjoyed as a kid.

This year’s festival theme is “It’s Always Moxie Season in Maine” which you will see displayed throughout Maine’s largest parade. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, led by Grand Marshall Rick Belhumeur, organizer of Spirit of the Wolf Pow Wow. Also new to the parade this year will be the L.L. Bean Bootmobile. Returning is the 70-member Lakeside Lutheran Warrior Band from Lake Mills, Wisconsin.

The 2014 Spirit of the Wolf Pow Wow at Lisbon High School has been canceled due to personal reasons. We would like to thank Rick Belhumeur and recognize him for bringing us the Spirit of the Wolf Pow Wow to the Moxie Festival for so many years.

This year we have extended the festival with these three new events:
