A civilian medal of honor should be established and presented to Gov. Paul LePage and DHHS Commissioner Mary Mayhew for withstanding the Democrats’ vicious media war being waged against them.
They are using intelligence and common sense to prevent working people from paying more than 50 percent of their wages to a liberal, corrupt system that thinks the public should support every illegal immigrant and the ones abusing the welfare system.
I don’t believe that one-of-four children are starving. But I do believe that the thousands of children coming across the boarder without help are part of a plot by the federal government to assist them so Democrats can get future votes.
Hillary Clinton said, “It takes a village to raise a child.”
Baloney.
It takes parents to raise and feed them, not the schools, the state or the federal government.
Yes, sometimes people need help, but not to the point of losing responsibility and independence.
The public has been brainwashed for so long people can no longer think for themselves. People should start thinking for themselves and forget the old party line, whether it be Democratic or Republican.
Democrats used to be the party of the working people, but now they want to bleed workers to pay for the illegals and people who choose welfare.
LePage and Mayhew should be supported in their effort to curb welfare abuse. There are certainly people in Maine who could use help. But let the other countries take care of their own.
Shut down anything for all illegals.
