National Night Out, featuring games and activities hosted by the Lewiston and Auburn police departments. Auburn events are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. in Festival Plaza. Lewiston events are scheduled at 5:30 p.m. at Marcotte Park.

LEWISTON — Board of Appeals hearing of city order requiring Donald Arel to discontinue the use of his 50 Old Farm Road property as an off-road vehicle park, campground and weapons firing range. Meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber of City Hall.

LEWISTON — Historic Preservation Review Board, 3 p.m. in City Hall.
LEWISTON — Maine People’s Alliance Community Conversation and Town Hall, 5 p.m. in Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library. An informal gathering for residents of Lewiston, Auburn, Lisbon Falls and neighboring communities to meet candidates for public office.
