State police are looking for three men who broke into a Minot home Saturday night and assaulted and robbed three men, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Monday.
According to state police Lt. Walter Grzyb, troopers found the victims, who fled the house, and identified them as Cyril Anduze of Auburn, Jamel Horrobin of New York, N.Y., and Rullah James, also of New York. All three had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
The men told police they were at Ross Tardif’s home at 340 Garfield Road when three armed and masked men broke in and assaulted and robbed them.
Tardif, 28, was not there at the time, police said. However, according to Auburn police, Tardif was arrested at 11:15 p.m. at the house and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
According to McCausland, police received a report at 11 p.m. Saturday of people with guns assaulting people inside the house. During the investigation, drugs, money and firearms were seized, according to police.
Troopers were assisted by members of Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Auburn Police Department, McCausland said.
