- Five County Credit Union received two first-place awards and an honorable mention from the Maine Credit Union League. The awards are part of a national program coordinated by the Credit Union National Association. Robert Brewer, left, board chairman at Five County, holds two awards while Luke Labbe, chairman of the league’s social responsibility committee, holds the other award. Five County Credit Union of Bath took first place for the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award; an honorable mention for the Louise Herring Philosophy In Action Member Service Award; and first place for the Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award. It has branches in Auburn, Augusta, Brunswick, Falmouth, Lewiston, Lisbon, Portland, Rockland, Scarborough, Skowhegan, Topsham, Waterville and Windham.
