SABATTUS — The Oak Hill Young Writer’s Club works on writing skills with the children in the RSU 4 School District.

On May 15, winners and participants were celebrated and honored in this year’s Esther Reynolds Literary Writing contest. The club supports local writers, artists, teachers and community groups by providing free workshops and writing assistance to children who attend RSU 4 schools.

The award winners were as follows.

Carrie Ricker School: Mrs. Witham’s fourth-grade class.

Oak Hill Middle School: first place, Noah Leclair; second, McKenzie Gervais; third, Michaela Gervais.

Oak Hill High School: first, Abigail Bossie; second, Kylee Veilleux; third, Sabrina Gauthier.
