- Called out on Sunday by Dixfield fire Chief Scott Dennett, East Dixfield firefighters did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge early Monday evening. Fire Chief Randy Hall, in front near center, gave each firefighter the choice to challenge either a different fire department in Franklin and Androscoggin counties, or whomever they wanted. Many fire departments, such as Rangeley and Eustis, were called out, along with a pair of coaches at Mount Blue High School in Farmington, and friends.
