BETHEL — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store Saturday night.

According to a release sent from Oxford County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Hart Daley, the robbery took place shortly before midnight Saturday at the Circle K on Mayville Road.

Daley said the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by officers from Rumford and Paris, as well as a Maine State Police K-9 unit.

No further information was available from police Sunday night.
