FARMINGTON — Two women face charges of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol after police responded to a complaint of a loud party at 148 Greenwood Ave. at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Farmington police secretary Rachel Heseltine said Monday.
When Sgt. Michael Adcock arrived, he heard loud music and observed approximately 20 college-age people inside while walking up to the residence, she said. Adcock made contact with people under age 21, which is the legal drinking age in Maine.
Adcock also spoke to two of four roommates who live at the residence.
Adcock arrested Andrea Beaulieu, 20, of Cape Neddick, and Meghan Plant, 21, of Fairfax, Vt., on one count each of furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol, Heseltine said.
The women were cooperative with Adcock, according to his report, she said.
Plant and Beaulieu were both released on $1,000 unsecured bail Sunday from the Franklin County jail.
