Season outlook: The Phoenix make the shift this year to the KVAC, so replicating the records of the past few years will be difficult. That, combined with the graduation of 10 everyday players, will make the learning curve a bit steep to begin the season. But if there’s anything we’ve learned about this group in the past few years, it’s that when the time comes to play games that matter the most, they will be ready. The future of the program is not in doubt, either. Fifteen — yes, 15 — freshmen are also out for the team this year, and should provide plenty of stability going forward.
