SABATTUS — The Cumberland Farms store will double in size when it reopens next month.
The renovation began last month at 145 Sabattus Road. Company spokesman Derek Beckwith said the convenience store will go from 2,400 square feet to 4,800 square feet.
It’s taking over the storefront of the Chinese restaurant Yeung’s, which moved across the street. The new store will have expanded food and drink options similar to those found in the remodeled Lewiston and Auburn stores. The tentative reopening date is Oct. 20, Beckwith said.
