Worship, praise night at Living Waters

FARMINGTON — Living Waters will host a night of worship and praise on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 6 p.m.

The following Sunday, Sept. 14, Living Waters will host Evangelist Mark Dunfee at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Please join us as we celebrate 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The public is welcome. Living Waters is at 547 Wilton Road, Farmington.

First U services start Sept. 7

PARIS — On Sunday, Sept. 7, Dr. Robert Sallies will welcome the congregation back for the start of the 2014-15 church year at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street. The service will begin at 10 a.m.

Dr. Sallies is a frequent guest speaker at the First Universalist Church as well as other local churches. Other speakers for the month of September are Silver Moore-Leamon on Sept. 14, Renee Wales on Sept. 21 and Silver Moore-Leamon on Sept. 28.

Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday school is under the direction of Renee Wales. A brunch coffee hour will follow the service and all are welcome. Child care is available and the church is wheelchair-accessible.

Church changing worship time

HARRISON — The United Parish-Congregational Church of Harrison and North Bridgton is changing its worship time beginning Sunday, Sept. 7. Worship will begin at 10 a.m., and it will stay that way through the winter.

The church is at 77 Main St., Harrison.

Blessing of backpacks is Sept. 14

AUBURN — St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will have a blessing of the backpacks on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the 10 a.m. service. All are welcome to attend. The church is at 78 Pleasant St., Auburn.
