I have been a resident of Jay for all of my 71 years. I have known the Gilbert family since I was very young. They have always been a well-respected, honest and caring family.
I have known Paul Gilbert to be an outstanding member of the community. He and his wife have raised a wonderful family who continue to carry on the proud family name.
Gilbert has shown himself to be a knowledgeable, informed and caring man. He has been there to help us out when we needed him. He cares about the people he represents and takes care of problems in a timely manner.
I am happy to lend my support to Gilbert in his run for re-election for state Representative, House District 74 (Jay, Livermore Falls and part of Livermore).
My husband and I urge our fellow citizens to join us in voting for Paul Gilbert on Nov. 4.
