POLAND/MECHANIC FALLS — Did you know there is greatness in every girl, even the littlest ones.

Can a young girl make a difference? She can if she’s a Girl Scout. As she learns new skills, she discovers that by working together even our youngest Girl Scouts can make the world better. Come learn about all the great opportunities Girl Scouts has to offer.

Girl Scouts of Maine will host a girl and adult Girl Scout Daisy & Flower Friends Party for all girls in kindergarten and first grade at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at Poland Community School and at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Elm Street School, Mechanic Falls.

Girls and their parents/chaperones from the Poland, Mechanic Falls and Minot area are invited to attend the informational meetings to find out about the many different and fun ways today’s girls are participating in Girl Scouting and how the Daisy program and activities inspire them to reach their personal best.

Girls will have an opportunity to sample some activities and adults will also learn about the flexible options and benefits of becoming a Girl Scout volunteer.

Girl Scouts of Maine serves over 10,000 girls statewide in grades K-12. To register for this event or for more information, contact Jeanie Duguay at 364-3639 or email jduguay@gsmaine.org or call toll-free 1-888-922-4763 or visit www.girlscoutsofmaine.org.
