RUMFORD — A Rumford man and Mexico woman were taken to Rumford Hospital early Wednesday morning after their vehicle rolled over on Route 232, Rumford police Chief Stacy Carter said.
Carter said that around 3:27 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Sgt. James Bernard and Corporal Donald Miller responded to the report of a rollover on Route 232.
Upon arriving, Carter said that they found the vehicle, a Dodge pickup truck, had rolled over and come to rest in a nearby potato field.
Carter said that two of the vehicles occupants, Travis Martin, 26, of Rumford and Kendra Thomas, 21, of Rumford, were taken to the Rumford Hospital. Cailin Currivan, 24, of Mexico also was in the vehicle at the time of the crash and walked away with minor injuries.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was at the scene later in the morning to reconstruct the crash.
Carter said that the investigation is ongoing.
“I do not have any further information until we get through the rest of this investigation,” Carter said.
