- One of three new weirs planned on the Nezinscot River is seen from Fish Road in Turner. The riverbank was eroding, threatening the roadway. The weirs will divert the current out toward the center of the river to protect the bank. The project is being done by Wyman and Simpson Inc. The company will also install riprap at the toe of the slope along 190 feet of the riverbank.
