I’m writing to endorse Susan Collins for re-election as Maine’s U.S. senator.
I am heavily involved in veterans issues and I know she is a strong voice and advocate in Washington for veterans, their families and surviving spouses. I hear from veterans almost every day who tell me that Sen. Collins advocates for them with the Veterans Administration; she is out front, asking veterans for input.
I was especially glad to see her at the dedication of the new Women’s Clinic at Togus VA Medical Center — she cares.
When I care enough about an issue to write her, she always responds quickly and with her position on the issue. She cares about all Mainers. We couldn’t ask for a better senator in Washington.
I will be casting my vote in November for Sen. Susan Collins and hope others will join me as well.
