NEW GLOUCESTER — Registration is open for Fight Back Festival to be held from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27. This family-fun event raises funds to support Cancer Community Center programs for cancer survivors, their families and friends.

Fight Back Festival, held at Pineland Farms, includes a 5K trail run and walk, bike rides of 10, 25 and 60 miles, a one-mile stroll and a kids’ fun run. All participants and volunteers enjoy a barbecue lunch, live music and children’s activities.

Fight Back Festival is an all-day festival the entire family will enjoy. In 2013, the festival drew over 800 participants and organizers expect more than 1,000 people will take part this year.

All proceeds from Fight Back Festival benefit the Cancer Community Center in South Portland, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote the well-being of people living with cancer, their families and friends.
