SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will meet Thursday, Oct. 2, at Maxwell Gill Hall. Doors open at 11 a.m. and this month’s meal is meatloaf with all the fixings, coffee and dessert. RSVP by Sept. 26 by calling Pauline at 375-4037 for cancellations or to sign up.
At this meeting, members will be drawing for the scholarship. Make sure to bring in your application slips for the drawing.
Also this month is elections for officers. Elections are held every three years.
Trip coordinators still have a few trips left for 2014. Jean is offering Mohegan/Foxwoods on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 21-22, with a Sinatra impersonator show. Trip includes bus, show, hotel, four meals and bonus play. Also, Jean is going to Indian Head for a Christmas party. The $58 cost includes two free drinks, bus, show and dinner buffet, plus a Christmas gift. If interested in the above, call Jean at 784-5264.
Helen has Bangor Slots on Sept. 30. A Veterans Day show tribute to the Andrew Sisters on Nov. 6 includes luncheon meal. Helen is also doing a Town and Country bus trip, and she also does Foxwoods. Call Helen at 375-6588.
Trips are available to all seniors members as well as nonmembers.
