1923 – 2014

SKOWHEGAN — Richard Jules Guilmet, 90, of Embden, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Cedar Ridge Rehab Center.

He was born in Auburn on Nov. 15, 1923, the son of Jules and Evelina (Gagne) Guilmet. He enjoyed flying, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy (Perry) Guilmet, of Embden; sons, Eric of Readfield and Craig of Embden; granddaughter, Erin, of Readfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dana and Marion Rogers of Dayton, Ohio; and cousins, nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his parents.
