AUBURN — “Master of the Boston Props”
highlights a lineup of stand-up comedians for Comedy Fix XV. The show will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at the Auburn Fireside Inn, with all net proceeds benefiting the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society. Comedy Fix founder Mark Turcotte will also welcome Jordan Handren-Seavey, Mark Gallagher, Ian Von Steffen and Krister Rollins.
Stone has successfully combined stand up, music and prop comedy to form a unique and entertaining act. He’s high energy and politically incorrect. He can be heard on Sirius/XM’s Raw Dawg Comedy Channel and has appeared on television’s Comedy at Club 54 and the motion picture “Creatures of Hollywood.”
Handren-Seavey advanced to the finals and will compete in the Beantown Comedy Riot in Boston on Oct. 2. He was also named Portland’s Funniest Professional in 2012. Gallagher performs throughout New England and is regular at Boston’s Comedy Studio.
Von Steffen is a conversational storyteller who has reams of material from challenging relationships and family life. He was a finalist in both the Witch City and Maine’s Funniest Comic Search contests. Rollins has performed in venues from Portland to Gorham. His mother describes his humor as “surreal” and “brilliant.”
