AUBURN — Olivia Paione netted a goal in each half Friday as Edward Little rolled to a 2-0 victory over Hampden Academy in a KVAC girls’ soccer matchup.

Molly Murray made 11 saves for the Red Eddies (9-1-2) to notch the shutout, while Eliza Eastman turned aside 10 shots between the posts for Hampden (7-2-2).

Wiscasset 6, Telstar 0

BETHEL — Brooke Carleton and Miranda McIntire netted two goals each as Wiscasset overpowered Telstar, 6-0, in an MVC battle Friday.

Grace Webber and Lindsey Gordon also tallied for the Wolverines (4-7-1) to complete the scoring.

Kayla Gordon needed only two saves to record the shutout, while Courtney Currier deflected 12 shots for the winless Rebels (0-12).

Leavitt 1, Winslow 0

WINSLOW — Victoria DeCoster fired a 30-yard shot from the right side into the net to give Leavitt a highly-valued valued 1-0 win over Winslow in more girls’ soccer action Friday.

Angela Daigle made four saves to notch the shutout, while Hillary Libby turned aside eight shots for Winslow.

Carrabec 1, Mt. Abram

NORTH ANSON — Seth Burns fired a well-timed shot into the net just 3:30 into the second half to give Carrabec a 1-0 win over longtime rival Mt. Abram in a MVC boys’ soccer tilt Friday.

Trent Richardson needed only two saves to give the Cobras (7-4) a shutout, while Tristen Dyer made six saves for the Roadrunners (8-3).

Telstar 3, Wiscasset 2

BETHEL — Liam Gallagher led a trio of players to record goals Friday as Telstar edged Wiscasset 3-2 in more late-season MVC boys’ soccer action.

Avery Griffin and Maverick Griffin also tallied for the Rebels, while Kevin Lynch scored both goals for the Wolverines.

Kellen True made eight saves for Telstar, while Conlon Ranta turned aside seven shots between the posts for Wiscasset.

St. Dom’s 1, Winthrop 0

AUBURN — Brian Genest converted a pass from Austin Roy 35 minutes into the contest to give St. Dom’s a 1-0 victory over Winthrop.

Ben Sawyer didn’t need a single save for the Saints (7-2-2) to notch the shutout, while Matt Sekerak deflected 20 shots for the Ramblers (0-11-1).

Lisbon 5, Oak Hill 1

LISBON — Junior midfielder Nick Huston scored a hat trick as Lisbon raced to a 5-1 victory over oak Hill in MVC boys’ soccer action Friday.

The Greyhounds (7-4-1) maintained possession throughout, but stepped up the tempo in the second half, scoring four unanswered goals in the frame.

Kaleb Sturtevant scoerd the lone goal for the Raiders (2-8-1).

Goalie Kyle Field made six saves for Oak Hill, while goalie Nate Bergeron stopped two to earn the win in net for Lisbon.
