MEXICO — The Mexico Public Library is selling tickets for its annual gift basket raffle until Monday, Nov. 17, with all proceeds supporting the library.
Employee Sharon Madore said Friday afternoon that the library hosts the raffle every year and that it “always seems to bring a smile to people’s faces when we hold it.
“We have a huge variety of gift baskets, and they make really good Christmas gifts,” Madore said. “We’re always looking for ways to help people have fun here. We need that, especially since there’s not as much to do in this area.”
Tickets cost $1 for one ticket, $2 for three tickets and $5 for seven tickets.
According to a press release by Library Director Valerie Messana, there are 16 different gift baskets, each with a different theme.
Gift basket themes include pumpkin, autumn, blueberry, Christmas, maple, movie night, puzzles, soup and sundaes.
