Stamp-A-Stack date corrected
PARIS — The annual Christmas Stamp-A-Stack event will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Maine Veterans’ Home, 477 High St.
Make 18 Christmas cards while you help raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Unit at the Veterans’ Home.
Class fee is $25. Fee includes beverages, snacks and all materials.
Register by Nov. 1.

New coffee shop at Waterford Library
WATERFORD — The Waterford Library will host a coffee shop every Friday morning starting Oct. 31.
Everyone is welcome to come for coffee or tea and pastries from 9 a.m. until noon. Come with friends or meet new friends there. The idea is to foster community, enjoy the conversations and connect with neighbors.
Hartford Church clothing center
HARTFORD — The Hartford Community Church Clothing Center will be open from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 and 15. The center is directly across from the church.
Hunter’s supper aids Legion, Auxiliary
LOCKE MILLS — A Hunter’s Supper will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Legion Hall, 595 Gore Road.
Proceeds benefit the Legion Post and Auxiliary programs.
Menu includes baked beans, chop suey, hot dogs, cole slaw, biscuits and assorted desserts. Cost is $7; children under 12, $3.
Elmwood Cemetery annual meeting
OTISFIELD — The annual meeting of The Elmwood Cemetery Association will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at the East Otisfield Baptist Church.
