I am pleased and proud to cast my ballot in favor of Mike Michaud for governor and Emily Cain for Congress.

Both candidates are thoughtful individuals who listen carefully and work diligently to get things done. They can work with people whose viewpoints are different from their own to find common ground, without abandoning their core values. They treat people with respect — and not only is that the right way to treat people, it also makes them more effective.

Both are tireless workers who understand what public service means. I know them, and I trust them to work hard to do the right thing for Maine. They are the kind of leaders Maine needs.
