- Farmington Public Works Department employees are rebuilding approximately 170 feet of sidewalk on High Street at the intersection with Anson Street. The walkways will be widened from three feet to six feet to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, foreman Jim Kiernan said. Bruce A. Manzer Inc. of Anson is expected to pave the sidewalk this week, weather permitting. Jeff Dunham directs traffic while Ron Jalbert works the backhoe and Glen Meisner and Kiernan work on the sidewalk.
