- The Tripp seventh graders won the MCMSFL championship, beating Auburn, 14-0, on Nov. 1 to cap off an undefeated season. Mark Herman scored the first touchdown to make it 6-0 at the half. Wyatt Hathaway threw a touchdown pass to Allen Peabody late in the fourth quater to seal the victory, with Steven Parshall catching the two-point conversion. Peabody, Camden Jordan Damion, Dasean Calder and Connor Sullivan were the leading tacklers on a good overall effort by the defense. Team members include: Wyatt Hathaway, Keegan Melanson, Dasean Calder, Damion Calder, Mark Herman, Steven Parshall, Rufino Driscoll, Lucas Mortensen, Logan Girard, Garrett Jabbusch, Cole Morin, Camden Jordan, Allen Peabody, Brent Grant, Eli Lind, Riley Parmenter, Connor Sullivan, Connor Wells, Nate Newman, Everett Varney, Bryce Luce, Ben Stone and Kyle Beaulieu.
