PARIS — A Mexico man will serve two days in jail and is ordered to pay restitution to Rumford Hospital after admitting he destroyed more than $2,000 in equipment.

Harvey O. Blood, 43, was ordered to serve two years in prison with all but 48 hours suspended after he pleaded guilty to a felony count of aggravated criminal mischief Wednesday.

As part of the plea deal with prosecutors, Blood will be on probation for a year. Prosecutors dropped misdemeanor counts of assault, terrorizing and disorderly conduct.

Blood’s case was continued to Dec. 21 to determine restitution payments.

Blood was arrested on March 17 by the Rumford Police Department after he destroyed a rolling stool, CPR stool, computer monitor, pump, magazine rack, cart and wireless printer laptop.
