TURNER — The Christmas season officially gets underway in Turner 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2,  with the annual lighting of the Christmas tree and a visit from Santa Claus. There will be music and treats.

Have Music, Will Travel will provide music and students from Leavitt Area High School will be singing.

Santa will arrive on the big firetruck and, with help from the children, will light the tree. He will lead children and parents into the Town Office, where the children may offer their Christmas wishes to Santa. The children will receive treats and gifts.
