WEST PARIS — The wedding of Danielle Mae Forkus and Nicholas Randall Gilbert was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the West Paris Baptist Church. Pastor Scott Randolph officiated at the wedding ceremony.
Mrs. Gilbert is the daughter of Susan and the late Michael Forkus of Bryant Pond. Mr. Gilbert is the son of Brent and Mary Gilbert of West Bethel.
The bride wore a satin gown with an elaborately inlaid corset with a ribbon to match the rustic themes and colors of the day. She carried a beautiful bouquet of dark calla lilies, roses, and gerbera daises wrapped with burlap and pearls.
Linda Yates, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were friend, Kimberley Tibbetts, and sisters of the bride, Elizabeth and Victoria Forkus. Flower girl was Josie Yates, daughter of the matron of honor.
Errol Andrews, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were friends of the bridegroom, Joshua Yates and Jacob Rideout, and brother of the bridegroom, Malcolm Gilbert. Ring bearer was Lukas Yates.
A reception followed at 49 Franklin Street in Rumford, after which the couple traveled to Jamaica. They are residing in Bethel with their pets, Sawyer, Lexi and Leo.
The bride is employed at Elsemore Dixfield Family Medicine and the bridegroom is employed by the town of Paris as a police officer.
