POLAND — Six people have been arrested following an investigation into a home invasion at 76 Page Road.
According to a news release from Lt. Glenn Holt of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department, the invasion that took place on Thursday at 9:19 p.m. appears to have been drug related and not a random act.
Holt wrote that citizens of the community should not be concerned for their safety.
The victim, 27-year-old Tyler Page, was taken to the hospital for a head injury and has since been released.
Holt wrote that the investigation led to the arrest of five people who were involved in the home invasion. A sixth was arrested on drug charges as a result of the investigation.
Lee Brown, 49, of Mechanic Falls was arrested at his home and charged with Class A robbery and Class B aggravated assault. His bail was set at $25,000.
Adam McIntosh, 31, of Freeport was arrested at Lee Brown’s home and charged with Class A robbery. McIntosh’s bail was set at $10,000.
Shawna Wilson, 37, of Mechanic Falls was arrested and charged with Class A robbery and Class E violation of conditions of release. No bail was allowed.
Diana Driscoll-Connolly, 39, of Mechanic Falls was arrested and charged with Class A robbery. Her bail was set at $5,000.
Terry Small, 47, of Mechanic Falls was arrested and charged with Class A robbery with bail set at $20,000.
Christian Bove, 35, of Mechanic Falls was arrested and charged with Class C unlawful possession of a scheduled drug. Her bail was set at $500.
Holt wrote that more charges are expected when the case is presented to the grand jury.
He said information on the ongoing investigation was withheld over the past few days to minimize the loss of evidence.
