Two people were arrested on Oliver Street Tuesday and charged with possession of stolen property after they pulled into the driveway of an Auburn police officer to fix a flat tire. Sgt. Daniel Blanchard said a man and a woman pulled their car into the driveway at the home of Officer Norman Bilodeau to repair a flat tire. He said Bilodeau asked the couple for identification, which they would not produce. Bilodeau then called the police. Officers responded and searched the car. They found items allegedly taken in several recent burglaries. The man and woman were apparently living in their car, Blanchard said. Police found empty beer bottles, trash and pots and pans in the car.
