If the titles and award nominations are not exciting enough, two out of the four Broadway productions star Maine natives. “Million Dollar Quartet,” the musical inspired by the electrifying true story of the famed and historic recording session that brought together rock-and-roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins at the Sun Record Studios in Memphis, stars Scott Moreau from Litchfield as Johnny Cash. His experience is not limited to performing; he made his professional directorial debut with “Ring of Fire” at the Round Barn Theatre in 2011. In 2013, he released a Johnny Cash tribute, “Home Of The Blues: A Tribute to Johnny Cash” at Sun Studio and most recently, Moreau  finished shooting the final episode of HBO’s Emmy award-winning show, “Boardwalk Empire.”

Chelsea Williams, a Maine native and 2008 Windham High School graduate, is now playing the role of Sophie in the “Mamma Mia!” national tour. After high school, Williams’s roots spread to Boston where she earned a BFA from Emerson College, worked with the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, the Gloucester Stage Company, the Berkshire Theatre Group, and collaborated with the SITI Company on “Café Variations,” directed by Anne Bogart.
