AUBURN — One person was taken to the hospital following a fire in an attached garage at 310 Park Avenue on Tuesday.

Auburn firefighters received the call at approximately 6:30 a.m. and quickly had the fire under control five minutes after arriving at the scene, said Battalion Chief Scott Hunter.

Damage was confined to the interior of the one-bay garage, he said.

One of the residents was taken to the hospital for burns and smoke inhalation.

Officials have yet to determined a cause.
