AUGUSTA (AP) — A Manchester woman has pleaded guilty to robbing a pharmacy in town last September.
The Morning Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1BOl2T8 ) reported that Brooke Frost pleaded guilty Thursday to robbery, stealing drugs and unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, the day before jury selection in her trial was scheduled to start.
Sentencing was delayed for several weeks.
Prosecutors say a woman wearing baggy clothing held a prescription form in front of the Rite-Aid pharmacist on Sept. 6 and demanded oxycodone. In a note, the robber claimed to have a gun.
The robber was given two bottles and fled on foot.
Frost was arrested at a relative’s home in Unity.
She told police three local drug dealers had kidnapped her boyfriend and forced her to rob the pharmacy, but investigators say that was not true.
